Uniper presents "outstanding" annual report

The German utility can be pleased with itself for having succeeded in getting its adjusted profit to grow despite sliding revenue. Omitting adjustments, though, paints a rather different picture.

An annual report headline touting "outstanding" earnings in 2020 serves as an apt indication of Uniper's view of the year, during which many other businesses were obliged to struggle just to keep their bottom lines from falling into the red. That, however, is not to say that Uniper's fiscal 2020 escaped the year completely unaffected.
