Mainstream's chair resigns after calling Africa "tribal"

The founder and chair of the Irish renewables developer has resigned after making disparaging comments he later conceded were "entirely inappropriate and insensitive" about the green power build-out in Africa supposedly being held back by the lack sufficient education in "tribal societies" to support the process. An Aker group executive takes over the role.
