From the very infancy of the US offshore wind industry, Ørsted has firmly stated that the Danish utility will set up its turbines using installation vessels built and crewed by US personnel. Or which in other words live up to the requirements of the Jones Act, which prohibits foreign ships and crews from operating between two points in the US.
