Major sale of Ørsted HQ crumbles after failed marathon talks with South Korean AM

The sale of Danish power utility Ørsted's headquarters in Greater Copenhagen's Gentofte is now off the table after the buyer from South Korea failed to make payment. The owner, domestic pension giant ATP's real estate unit now officially says it's holding onto the office space of more than 80,000 meters2, the pension firm's largest owned property.

It was slated to be the largest single real estate sale in Denmark's history, with an expected purchase price of roughly DKK 2.5bn (EUR 340m), but now the deal to offhand Ørsted's headquarters in Copenhagen suburb Gentofte has flopped, reports AMWatch's Danish sister media covering real estate affairs, EjendomsWatch.
