Ørsted faces tax claims in several countries

While Danish authorities raise their claim on Ørsted's taxable offshore wind by DKK 2.5bn, Norwegian counterpart demands billions in connection with the divested oil business. The utility sets cash aside to pay the latter.

While it's true that the Danish Ministry of Finance owns a majority position in Ørsted, the utility and the ministry aren't particularly great friends – at least not regarding the agency charged with collecting state revenue. The Danish Tax Authority has raised its claim against Ørsted in the case on where the value of the utility's offshore wind farms is taxable.
