Fortum doubled revenue in turbulent 2021

The Finnish company reports growth on practically all posts during a year when gas and high energy prices have boosted results.

Fortum exits another energy year described as "extraordinary". The Finnish giant focuses on the fact that the group "held course". Weak winds and low energy capacity were the downsides, while high gas prices dominating the second half of 2021 doubled Fortum's revenue – which is to a great extent attributable to subsidiary Uniper's.
