Ørsted board demonstrates trust in CEO

The replacement of two key senior executives at Ørsted shows that the crisis has taken the company by surprise, but also that there is confidence in the CEO, analysts say.

Ørsted has taken ”decisive action”. So says Jacob Pedersen, analyst at Danish bank Sydbank, after the energy giant this morning replaced both its CFO and its COO in two lightning maneuvers. Temporary top managers have been put in place, while the hunt is now commenced for two new people to fill the said positions.
