Ørsted CEO: Sunrise Wind does not meet our return requirements

Sunrise Wind won’t be a golden business or ”a great project” for Ørsted, says the CEO, who calls it a ”solid project”.

Last week, it emerged that Ørsted and its offshore wind project Sunrise Wind had been selected for contract negotiations in New York, and now the CEO of the Danish utility company says that this transforms the project from a loss-making business to a positive value creator, according to DAnish business daily Børsen.
