The majority of Ørsted’s first round of layoffs is complete. In connection with its annual report and strategy update a month ago, the energy company announced its first real round of layoffs since 2017, with the elimination of between 600-800 positions. This corresponds to up to 9% of the company’s total workforce by the end of 2023.
