Momentum appoints new CFO after best result ever

The new CFO will be ”an important part of strengthening Momentum further in the coming years,” says CEO and founder, Kim Madsen.

Momentum Energy Group has named its new CFO. 

Annette Nylander will start as the new CFO of Momentum Energy Group on September 1, 2024. At the same time, she will also become part of the senior management team, Momentum Energy writes in an announcement. 

CEO and founder, Kim Madsen, calls her ”an important part of strengthening Momentum further in the coming years, so we are optimally prepared for the continued strong growth we expect,” according to the announcement.

Nylander has previously worked at European Energy and Better Energy, where she held similar positions for ten and six years respectively. 

”Annette is joining us at a time when the Momentum Group has just published its best annual report in the company’s history,” says Kim Madsen, who is convinced that Annette Nylander ”can take Momentum to the next level.”

”Of course, we look forward to having Annette on board so we can continue our own development and fulfill our own dreams of continuing to be one of Denmark’s leading companies in the green transition.”

Kim Madsen has recently told EnergiWatch about his ambition to increase his electricity production tenfold within the next 3-5 years.

Momentum recently presented its best financial statements to date, where revenue grew to DKK 425m (EUR 56.9m) in 2023, while profits amounted to DKK 123.7m. In addition to the high energy prices caused by the Ukraine war, it is the acquisition of energy parks and the sale of power that
