Vattenfall will not be bidding on UK tenders

Vattenfall does not feel ready for the round of spring tenders in the UK, meaning rival Dong Energy could catch up. Competition for British bids will be tough, says an analyst.

Swedish company Vattenfall, which gave its Scandinavian rival Dong Energy a run for its money last year by snatching up offshore wind projects, does not look as though it will participate in the UK's upcoming spring tenders.
