Norwegian minister wants to scrap Danish electricity cable cooperation

70% of Norwegians believe that foreign cables have been responsible for higher electricity prices.

When the two oldest power cables between Norway and Denmark can no longer be used in 2026, they should not be renewed, says Norway’s minister of finance, Trygve Slagsvold Vedum, according to Danish business media Finans, citing Norwegian media NTB.
