China pulls the emergency brake in response to too many turbines
A number of Chinese provinces are building so many wind turbines that it will be impossible for consumers to use all the electricity. The national energy authority has therefore requested three regions to postpone planned wind-energy projects, and two regions were ordered to immediately halt approving additional projects.
