Vestas gets Swedish contract in the US

The wind turbine manufacturer has signed a repowering contract for delivery of wind turbines to the US market next year.

Vestas has received a contract for 47 MW for project Wind Wall 1 in California. The company placing the order is Sweden-based Eolus, which through its US subsidiary has placed an order for 13 wind turbines of the type V126-3.45, of which some will be delivered at 3.8 MW, announces Eolus.
