Polluting palm oil used for diesel in record volumes

Although palm oil-based biodiesel emits roughly three times as much CO2 as fossil diesel, it has become more prolific.

The amount of palm oil used for biodiesel production set a 2018 record in the EU, writes Danish media Ingeniøren based on figures from environmental organization Transport Environment.
