KK Wind makes German acquisition

With its first carve-out acquisition of, among other, the development business of a German supplier, KK Wins Solutions seeks to bolster its offerings within power converters.

After completing a range of domestic acquisitions, Denmark’s KK Wind Solutions is now going shopping abroad. The expanding supplier of items such as electronic components for the wind industry now carries out a carve-out acquisition, taking over parts of German firm Convertertec, which since its establishment in 1996 has delivered roughly 25,000 converters mainly to onshore wind turbines.
