Siemens Gamesa lands 346MW deal in India

This order of 96 turbines brings the manufacturer’s total orders for its 3.X platform in India up to 1.4GW.

Siemens Gamesa booked a 346MW onshore order on Friday for the Karnataka wind farm, which is being developed by Azure Power.

The turbine manufacturer will provide 96 model SG 3.6-145 wind turbines during Q2, 2023. Once the project is in operation, it will have the capacity to provide over 1 million households in India with electricity.
