Niras expands offshore wind business through Swedish acquisition

The advisory firm has set its sights on a bigger presence on the offshore wind market and has acquired a Swedish company.

Niras wants to be the first-choice of advisor on offshore wind, leading the firm to acquire Swedish company Aqua Biota.

Aqua Biota specializes within marine biology and limnology (the study of inland aquatic regions) and the acquisition includes 25 employees.
