Ewii CEO: Release grid companies and make better use of the power grid

Instead of only focusing on expanding the power grid to take on brief periods of peak loads, politicians should ease regulations so power grid operators can incentivize flexible usage of the grid, says Ewii CEO Lars Bonderup.

If the ambitious climate targets are to materialize, it will require major investments into the electricity distribution grid, said Green Power Denmark last week in an analysis stressing that investments into grid reinforcement and expansions need to be tripled in the years towards 2030.
