RWE and Modvion join forces on wooden towers

German RWE’s Swedish division teams up with the manufacturer on installing wooden wind turbines in upcoming onshore wind farms.

RWE Renewables Sweden and Swedish Modvion plan to increase the sustainability of onshore wind farms by installing wooden wind turbines. In a partnership, the two companies aim to verify the technology of wooden towers and set the stage for RWE using these in upcoming wind farms.
