Prelude to Vestas financial results: Another bad quarter but recovery in sight

Old contracts are squeezing earnings at the wind turbine manufacturer, but brighter times are ahead, according to Sydbank’s head of equity research.

It won’t be a spectacular set of financial figures that Danish OEM Vestas will present for the second quarter on Wednesday. Old contracts signed at lower prices than today’s current prices will continue to squeeze earnings.
