NKT boss: No current plans to open factories in Denmark

NKT, which produces subsea cables for offshore wind turbines, will not open a Danish factory despite the large offshore wind tenders. ”We have no active plans for that at the moment,” says the CEO.

Cable manufacturer NKT is experiencing good growth and a gigantic order book totaling DKK 85bn. But despite the prospect of even more momentum with a number of large Danish offshore wind tenders, the industrial giant is not planning new factories in Denmark.
