Vattenfall ventures further into solar power

The energy company is establishing a new hybrid division for solar and batteries as well as beginning a hunt for solar projects in both Denmark and other Northern European countries.

This Wednesday, Vattenfall's Dutch subsidiary Nuon announced a contract with super market chain Hoogvliet. At 14 super markets as well as one bakery, 6,000 solar panels will be installed to generate an annual 1,400 MWh.
