Statkraft, Nel to partner on 50-MW hydrogen project

The two companies will work together with steelmaker Celsa and real estate group Mo Industripark to establish a full value chain for green hydrogen in Northern Norway.

Since this summer, Statkraft has had big ambitions for making green hydrogen for steel production. A facility going by the name of Hydrogen Hub Mo has now lured a new partner to the table – namely Danish-Norwegian H₂ company Nel.
