Technical university commissions CCS plant
CCS is high on Denmark's political agenda, and now the country sees an actual system enter operation. Over the year, it will be used for biogas production, waste incineration and probably cement production, too.
Taking into account that carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) will be the most important way of reducing carbon emissions by 70 percent, as per Denmark's national climate policy of the summer 2020, the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) has now taken a crucial first step.
