Nel to raise EUR 130m through equity emission

The Norwegian hydrogen company has initiated a short-termed equity emission in order to finance further projects – and larger ones, too.

Nel needs more money in its treasure chest – or at least more stock shares in its books. The Norwegian hydrogen company says Wednesday afternoon that it has hired a trio of banks to carry out an equity emission of up to 49.5 million new private placement shares – a capital increase that, based on the group's share price Wednesday at closing trading hours, will add NOK 1.28bn to the firm's accounts.
