Equinor, Engie enter hydrogen partnership

An MoU paves the way for development of low-carbon hydrogen in Belgium, France and the Netherlands.

Norwegian oil firm Equinor has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with French utility Engie to examine the potential of so-called low-carbon hydrogen. The two companies will jointly investigate the possibilities of developing a value chain in Belgium, France and the Netherlands, while the coming months will see talks with potential customers, authorities and interested parties.
