Danfoss enters salt power collaboration developing high-pressure pumps

In collaboration with the Technical University of Denmark's chemical engineering department and clean energy company Saltpower, Danfoss will develop both high-pressure pumps and osmotic membranes to generate electricity from saltwater.

Danish industrial company Danfoss, Technical University of Denmark's (DTU) chemical engineering department and clean energy firm Saltpower have formed a partnership to develop the next generation of high-pressure pumps, energy recuperation components as well as osmotic membranes meant for power production.
