NKT recommends appointing Nebahat Albayrak to the cable maker's board in connection with the upcoming annual general meeting on March 24.

NKT confirms the news Wednesday in the wake of Albayrak announcing her candidacy.

Born in Turkey in 1968, Albayrak serves as senior vice president of Corporate Affairs at Finnish utility Fortum.

Regarding her qualifications, NKT highlights her expertise working with sustainability in international organizations.

In connection with the AGM convening notice, NTK informed that Jutta af Rosenborg intended not to seek reelection.
