Uggla wants to open the energy taps like his grandfather in billion-dollar venture

The President of the European Commission has named the world’s first methanol-powered container ship, kicking off a race for the new green gold – the marine fuel methanol.
"Laura Maersk", the new container ship that will be the first in the world to run on methanol, was named on Thursday by EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. On the right in the photo is Robert Mærsk Uggla. | Photo: Mads Claus Rasmussen/Ritzau Scanpix
