E.on launches solar panels with battery storage

The German energy company will now launch solar panels with built-in battery storage. In this way, households can save up to 50 percent on their electricity bill, according to E.on.

British electricity customers can now purchase solar panels with built-in batteries, as E.on has launched a product which can reduce electricity bills by 50 percent, writes Reuters.

The new solution will first be made available to citizens in central England. The customers themselves will be able to figure out what the price will be based on the size of their homes.
