BP makes two new oil discoveries in the North Sea

While several players have left the North Sea in recent years, BP chose to stick it out. This has now resulted in two new oil discoveries.

British oil and gas group BP has discovered new oil and gas in the North Sea, announces the company in a corporate statement, where adding that the fields are located in the British part of the North Sea. One is the Capercaillie field in the central part of the North Sea and the second is the Achmelvich field in the West of Shetland area.
