Equinor's CEO eyes risk of fluctuations in the oil price

A shortage of new oil investments in the crisis years since 2014 could lead to a new oil peak and risky price fluctuations, warns Equinor CEO Eldar Sætre to Norwegian daily Dagens Næringsliv.

The oil price has surged by more than 50 percent in just one year, and supply could struggle to meet demand, says Equinor CEO Eldar Sætre, who tells Norwegian business daily Dagens Næringsliv that there is a risk of a new oil-price peak and associated price fluctuations.
