Uggla appointed vice chair of Maersk Drilling

The Mærsk heir is appointed vice chair of Maersk Drilling as a part of "strengthening" the board of directors ahead of the planned IPO this year.

Mærsk heir Robert M. Uggla, Chief Executive for A.P. Moller Holding, is appointed as new vice chair for Maersk Drilling, the latter company informs in a statement.

The nomination of Uggla takes place as a part of efforts to "strengthen" the board ahead of the planned initial public offering of Maersk Drilling, expected to occur at some point in 2019.
