Norway grants 83 new extraction licenses
83 new extraction licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf are offered to 33 different oil companies – the highest number to date in one allocation round.
Norway is offering a record-high number of extraction licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy is offering a total of 83 new licenses under the so-called TSO 2018 ordinance.
