Denmark threatens Nord Stream 2 timetable

Something needs to happen very soon if the gas pipeline between Russia and Germany is not to be delayed, a Nord Stream 2 AG representative tells Financial Times.

The lack of Danish approval for gas pipeline Nord Stream 2 has long been known and much discussed in international media. Not least because Denmark is the only country connected to the pipeline to not give the go-ahead. In the same time frame, it has been rumored that Danish authorities' hesitation has been a threat to the gas pipeline's planned opening before the end of the year.
