Total mulls electrification of Tyra using wind

The French oil major confirms plans to electrify the Tyra field in order to reduce the climate footprint of its operations.

A Danish project could play a part in Total's plans to reduce emissions from its oil and gas operations ­ Scope 1 and 2 ­ by 40 percent approaching 2030, before the French company's planned net-zero emissions by 2050.
