Equinor acquires Polish solar company

The oil firm makes a full acquisition of Polish company Wento, becoming owner of a portfolio of solar farms totaling 1.6 GW.

Norwegian oil firm Equinor is doing well in Poland. Yesterday, the company announced allocation of a few offshore wind projects totaling 1.4 GW in the Central European country, following up on Wednesday with a full acquisition of photovoltaic specialist Wento.
