Wintershall says EU shouldn't underestimate natural gas

Though the oil and gas firm welcomes the EU's green legislative package, the company CEO urges that technology neutrality not be forgotten in the green energy transition.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen Wednesday presented the Fit for 55 legislation, which sets the direction for member countries on their road toward a CO₂ reduction by 55 percent come 2030.
