Equinor makes new oil discovery

The Norwegian oil company expects to extract between 21 to 33 million barrels of oil from the new North Sea discovery.

In the Troll and Fram area, Equinor has made another oil discovery along with partner Wellesley.

The discovery was made in the Toppand prospect's exploration wells 35/10-7 S and 35/10-7 A, marking the fifth discovery in the area for Equinor. The Norwegian oil firm estimates that between 21 and 33 million barrels of oil can be extracted from the site.
