Oil recovers on steep Monday decline

Geopolitical tensions in Eastern Europe and the Middle East prompt concerns over disruptions in oil deliveries, underpinning crude prices.

Tuesday morning sees oil prices slightly higher than the level at 5 p.m. CET Monday, when prices plunged.

The day was one of general panic on global financial markets and also saw fluctuations on the commodities market.
