Baltic Pipe approved anew

The timing of news about establishing new natural gas infrastructure bypassing Russia seems rather opportune right now. Thus, with no small degree of satisfaction, Danish transmission system operator Energinet announces Tuesday morning that construction work on Baltic Pipe may resume at full pace. After being without an environmental permit since May of last year, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has now granted new approval for the gas pipeline connecting Norway to Poland.
