Shocking lack of EIAs for oil and gas projects

”I was born in 1988 and in my 35 years, approvals have been granted to oil and gas fields without carrying out necessary assessments of the consequences for our nature. It’s simply horrifying” says Head of Climate and Environmental Policy at Greenpeace in Denmark Helene Hagel following a survey published by Danish law firm Poul Schmidt, showing that the Energy Agency has been granting approvals for field complexes without adhering to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) stipulations.
