Staff without adequate expertise operated Equinor control room unsupervised

The LNG facility in Norwegian Hammerfest has struggled in recruiting qualified personnel, shows report from The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate.

During an inspection from February, The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate assessed alarms and workload in the facility control room in addition to inspection of work hours for the organizational units production and operation, maintenance and technology between 2021 and 2023.
