Faroese company nabs Dong fields for cheaper

Oil company Faroe Petroleum has finally taken over Dong Energy's stakes in five Norwegian oil fields, but at a much lower price than expected.

Back in July, Dong Energy divested from its oil portfolio in Norway.

The Danish energy company said farewell to its stakes in five oil and gas fields corresponding to 10 percent of Dong's total oil production.
