Noreco nears liquidation: Sells last major asset

Last week, the owners of Norwegian oil company Noreco emerged victorious in a crucial insurance claims case. Now the company is selling its largest asset and thus moving one step closer to winding down.

It is well known that Norwegian oil company Noreco's most important asset is neither found in oil tanks nor underground.

On the other hand, the main asset has been the compensation claims worth hundred of millions of dollars, filed by the Norwegian company over damage to the Danish Siri platform, as the facility dealt with huge problems a few years back.
