
Denmark's biggest oil company, Maersk Oil, has on several occasions and in breach of maritime environmental law discharged so-called "red" chemicals in relation to oil extraction in the North Sea.
As such, the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has now taken steps to file police charges against Maersk Oil, according to a press release from the agency.
