From "populist low point" to "democratic beauty": Thwarted Radius sale splits sides

It would be putting it mildly to say that there are divided opinions on the Danish finance ministry's dramatic announcement Sunday concerning an immediate halt on Ørsted's plan to sell its distribution system operator, Radius. The DSO is reportedly worth up to DKK 21 billion (EUR 2.81 billion). Danish finance minister Kristian Jensen (Liberal Party) was obliged to pull the plug on the major deal, because the Social Democrats and SF (Socialist People's Party) informed the minister that the two parties have now withdrawn their parliamentary support of the sale.
