Japan surrenders to Trump, downplays climate

According to the Financial Times, Japan has diluted the climate agenda for Friday and Saturday's G-20 summit in exchange for trade deal benefits with the US.

Despite heat waves and emphatic warnings about climate change, Japan succumbed to US pressure and sidelined climate issues at the G-20 summit being held in Osaka this weekend.
