Dutch-Danish Cobra Link is ready

While all eyes are on Viking Link, the green interconnector between the Netherlands and Denmark has reached completion. The line connects the two countries' grids and can enter full operation from Sept. 7. Cobra Link is 325 kilometers long and has a transmission capacity of 700 MW.

The Cobra Link interconnector between the Netherlands and Denmark is now complete and will be ready to begin transmitting power between the two countries from Sept. 7, informs Dutch-German transmission system operator Tennet in a statement.
